SWAZILAND, 3DA0. Mike, SQ3PMM is QRV as 3DA0MS. Activity is during
his spare time on 40 to 10 meters using CW and SSB. QSL via
operator’s instructions.

LIBYA, 5A. Abubaker, 5A1AL is currently active on the HF bands
using CW and SSB. QSL via his new manager W5UE.

NIGERIA, 5N. Martin, LW9DTR will be QRV as 5N/LW9DTR on August 6
and 7. Activity will be on 20, 15 and 10 meters using SSB and JT65.
QSL direct to home call.

JAMAICA, 6Y. Armin, DK9PY will be QRV as 6Y6N from St. Elizabeth,
IOTA NA-097, from August 10 to 14. Activity will be on the HF
bands. This includes an entry in the upcoming Worked All Europe DX
CW contest. QSL to home call.

CROATIA, 9A. Operator GW4UWD is QRV as 9A/GW4UWD/p from Zlarin
Island, IOTA EU-170, until August 9. Activity is on the HF bands
using CW and QRP power mostly during his mornings and evenings. QSL
direct to home call.

MOZAMBIQUE, C9. Johannes, PD0JBH is QRV as C91PA from Maputo and
plans to be here until March 2017. Activity of late has been on 40
and 20 meters using SSB. QSL via operator’s instructions.

CHILE, CE. Scott, K0MD is QRV as CE2/K0MD from Vina del Mar until
August 8. Activity is on 20 and 17 meters, and possibly 40 and 15
meters using CW and SSB. QSL to home call.

SARDINIA, IS0. Giuseppe, IZ4JUK will be QRV as IS0/IZ4JUK from
Porto Ottiolu, IOTA EU-024, from August 6 to 25. Activity will be
on 20 and 15 meters using SSB, and on 40 meters if conditions
permit. QSL direct to home call.

ALAND ISLANDS, OH0. Ismo, OH2IS will be QRV as OH0/OH2IS from
August 6 to 11. Activity will be holiday style on 80 to 10 meters
using only CW. QSL to home call.

MARKET REEF, OJ0. Operators Dietmar, DL3DXX, Rene, DL2JRM and
Robin, DO2XX will be QRV as OJ0DX from August 11 to 16. Activity
will be on 80 to 6 meters using CW, SSB and RTTY. This includes
being an entry in the upcoming Worked All Europe DX CW contest. QSL
via DL3DXX.

BRAZIL, PY. Members of the Liga de Amadores Brasileiros de Radio
Emissao are QRV using the special call ZV2016RIO from Rio de Janeiro
until August 21. Activity is on 160 to 2 meters, except 30 meters,
using CW, SSB, FM, PSK, D-Star, and some satellites as well. QSL
via PY1AA.

SUDAN, ST. Magdi, ST2M is QRV using the special call sign ST2AC
from Khartoum for the 18th Arab League Conference. Activity is on
various HF bands. QSL to home call.

ICELAND, TF. Mike, ON2MVH plans to be QRV as TF/ON2MVH from August
6 to 21. He plans to be active using mostly QRP during his 5 AM and
9 PM local times. QSL via operator’s instructions.

MALI, TZ. Laurent, F5IXR is QRV as TZ5XR from Kidal City until
February 2017. Activity is on the HF bands using CW and SSB. QSL
via F5MXH.

EUROPEAN RUSSIA, UA. Special event station R15RTRN is QRV during
August to call attention to the numerous awards concerning the
Russian Television and Radio Broadcasting Network that was
inaugurated 15 years ago. QSL via R7AA. In addition, special event
station R31RIO is QRV until August 21 during the time of the Olympic
Games in Brazil. QSL via RQ7L.

CAMBODIA, XU. Operators Steff, HB9FXL and Rolf, HB9MUQ will be QRV
as XU7AKB and XU7AKD, respectively, from August 7 to 18. Activity
will be on 40 to 10 meters using SSB. QSL XU7AKB via HB9FXL and
XU7AKD via HB9MUQ.

ALBANIA, ZA. Nicola, IU7GSN plans to be QRV as ZA3/IU7GSN from
Sarande from August 9 to 23. Activity will be on the HF bands using
SSB and various digital modes. QSL direct to home call.

THIS WEEKEND ON THE RADIO. The North American CW QSO Party, QRP
20-Meter CW Fox Hunt, NCCC RTTY Sprint, NCCC CW Sprint, TARA Grid
Dip Shindig, 10-10 International Summer SSB Contest, European HF
Championship, WAB 144 MHz Low Power Phone, SARC Summer Fieldday,
August UHF Contest and the SARL HF Phone Contest will keep
contesters busy this upcoming weekend.

The RSGB 80-Meter Club CW Sprint, Phone Fray, CWops Mini-CWT CW Test
and NAQCC CW Sprint are all scheduled for August 10.

The ARRL National Parks on the Air event runs during all of 2016 to
mark the 100th anniversary of the National Park Service.
